Ira G. Golding was born about 1805 in South Carolina, the only child of James Magill Golding and Nancy Golding. He married Sarah Young Medley in 1832 in South Carolina. They had nine children in 17 years. He died in 1880 in Unknown, having lived a long life of 75 years.
Note: Both Mother and Father had last name of Golding
