Mary "Polly" Ann Crickmore was born on December 25, 1823, in North Carolina. She married William S. Wester on August 26, 1841, in Nash, North Carolina. She had three children by the time she was 21. She died on July 28, 1912, in Celina, Texas, having lived a long life of 88 years.
